Rules and Regulations



Attendance
A student must have a minimum of 85% attendance for promotion to the higher class and appearing for the Board Examination. A deficiency of 15% can be condoned by the Principal on medical grounds. 


Leave of Absence
In normal cases, students require prior permission for availing themselves of leave. Leave upto one day can be granted by the class teacher. Leave for more than one day has to be granted by the Principal. Half day leave is not allowed. 


Parent Teacher Association
The P.T.A of the school serves as a forum for parents and teachers to engage in mutually beneficial discussions and it works for the welfare of the school community. 


Rules of Discipline for Students

    • Refinement of manners, habits of law and order, neatness in person and dress and punctuality are required at all times
    • All the students must reach the school well in time. Latecomers will have to get written permission from the principal.
    • Those who reach the school before time should sit in their seats in the class room and study silently. Permission of the teacher-in-charge is required for going out before the first bell.
    • Students must come to school in clean neat and proper uniform. They should keep with them the text and notebooks and all the study materials required for the classes they attend
    • The school uniform should be strictly in accordance with the pattern prescribed by the school
    • All are expected to speak English in the school premises and in school buses
    • No re-examination will be conducted for students who remain absent from any examination.
    • Every student is responsible for the safe custody of his or her belongings. The school will not be responsible for their loss. Ornaments and jewellery of any kind are not allowed in the school.
    • Students will not be allowed to atted telephone calls during class hours
    • A student must obtain his/her parent's acknowledgment within 3 days for entries in the progress report and remarks in the school diary.
    • Use of mobile phones inside school campus and school bus is strictly prohibited.
    • Immoral actions, in-subordination to authorities, wilfull damage to property, skulking, malpractices in examination, tampering marks, forgery in any form etc. are grave reasons for severe disciplinary action
    • Permission from the principal is necessary for leaving school premises during school hours
    • No student will be sent home unless a duly authorised person comes to take him.
    • School diary should be brought to school everyday.
